  1. Good evening Marcus,
I also found an article from a different state that was about the plastic bag ban. I find it interesting that people are reacting similarly everywhere. We are so used to having plastic bags at stores that any change to this, upsets people. I liked that one of your stories about the bee is a national issue, but a local newspaper still reported it because it affects everyone.

  2. Marcus, I enjoyed reading through your set of articles. I’ve followed the ban on plastic bags closely because the change will soon be coming to my hometown and people are experiencing similar anxieties. I think banning the bags is a valuable change that is good for the environment, but I understand that people are afraid of change. Once the ban goes into effect people will realize that this isn’t truly that drastic and, in a decade, or so we will all look back and question why we used plastic bags so frequently.

  3. Hello Marcus, thank you for informing me with your articles. I had no clue about the plastic bag ban. That affects lot of people especially if grocery stores are charging for paper bags. But there is alway a loop hole. I also enjoyed reading the segment on cashless tools. I currently already have a sun-pass, however I know this will speed up traffic on highways. However, increasing prices may cause people to find other routes to their destinations.

  4. Hi Marcus, great post! I thought New York’s local problems were very interesting. I think it is amazing that New York is implementing a plastic bag ban, this will help the environment so much. I do not even understand why people are so concerned about being charged for a paper bag, as the rest of the world seems to be doing this same thing just fine.
