Forming An Opportunity Belief

Marcus Manzoni ENT3003 January 28, 2020 Forming an opportunity Belief My belief is that there is a better way to make razors more durable and last longer. The unmet need is that there isn’t an easy way to sharpen razor blades and make them last. This need is targeted to men and more specifically targeted to men who feel the need to shave; however, some women who also choose to shave often may be targeted as well. This need has existed since the invention of household razor blades, and although the blades are becoming sharper and more durable, blades are only expected to be good for about a week (5-6 shaves depending on strokes required). To meet this need now, people often buy new quality razors/blades when their old one becomes dull, buy cheap disposable razors and/or subscribe to a shaving product service to receive new products monthly. As of now I am 75% sure that an opportunity exists regarding this unmet need/problem. A prototypical customer is a middle class ...

Marcus Manzoni ENT3003 January 27, 2020 Entrepreneurship Story In my family, there are a few different relatives that have started their own businesses, but I rarely talk to them about their business or just in general. My main experience with an entrepreneur, was when I was interning with a start-up company called Fantasy Life. At Fantasy Life I was able to work directly with the CEO and entrepreneur of the company, and worked on various marketing tasks. While I was interning to gain marketing experience, along the way, I would pick up things about how he would operate on a day to day basis and run the company. A lot of it included an extremely busy schedule that required him to see over all the daily operations, as well as all the B-B activities such as meeting with investors and business partners. I enrolled in the class mainly because it was one of the electives required for my major, but I also would like to gain a basic overview of what makes a good entrepreneur and h...

Bug List

Marcus Manzoni ENT3003 January 19, 2020 Bug List 1.Overbooked flights: This bugs exists because airlines are able to take advantage of their customers who reserve tickets in advance, hoping someone will be willing to give up their seat for a voucher. If someone doesn't they have to remove someone anyway. 2.My apartment’s location: This bug exists because my apartment only really has one bus route and it doesn't make any stops too close to Archer Rd, Butler Plaza or even just a place with a grocery store in general. 3.Alarms to wake up: This bug exists because waking up to an alarm/sound ruins the whatever noise/song it's set to. 4.Cooking in my apartment: This bug exists because even when the oven fan is on, no matter what I am cooking, even if I am just boiling water, the smoke detector goes off because it is too sensitive. 5.Dress shirts/clothing becoming un-tucked: This bug exists because sometimes it can be really difficult to keep dress shir...
